Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow

The University of North Carolina Wilmington is seeking two Postdoctoral Psychology Fellows to join our Counseling Center team. As a Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in providing counseling services, program development, and outreach programming in a university setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, group, and crisis counseling services to students
- Develop and deliver outreach programming and workshops for students, faculty, and staff
- Consult with campus departments and provide training on student development and emotional/psychological concerns
- Participate in the Counseling Center's after-hours and on-call rotation
- Engage in a consultation project in an area of interest and expertise
- Provide supervision and training to graduate students and staff
- Completed an APA or CPA accredited counseling or clinical psychology doctoral program
- Completed dissertation prior to beginning the Fellowship
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and campus departments
- Experience working in a college counseling center
- Interest and experience in developing preventive outreach programming
- Ability to work collaboratively with campus departments and have a sense of humor
