About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Packaging Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our customers in the South Central Region.

With a focus on consultative sales and solutions-driven methodology, you will work closely with our customers to understand their packaging needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your sales expertise and passion for industrial packaging to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell Signode's high-performance packaging systems, including consumables, machines, tools, and services, to meet customer needs.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals by developing new distributor relationships and increasing shelf space with existing customers.
  • Negotiate volume contracts, pricing agreements, and other business terms with key distribution accounts.
  • Develop and present the value proposition of One Signode to our distribution network.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Customer Service, Inside Sales, and Regional Sales Management, to achieve shared goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 3-5 years of outside consultative sales experience, with industrial sales experience preferred.
  • Distribution sales experience is highly desirable.
  • Able to travel overnight up to 65% of the time.
