**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Facilities Engineer to join our team at Disaster Resource Group. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing safe and cost-effective electrical facilities for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

**Responsibilities:*

  • Design and Development: Prepare project packages that include material lists, requisitions, labor estimates, site drawings, and construction drawings for various installations of electrical facilities.
  • Technical Expertise: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, change orders, improvement plans, construction specifications, procedure manuals, and operational procedures.
  • Drafting and Reporting: Perform drafting work and assist in the preparation of designs, plans, and reports.
  • Critical Thinking: Make accurate engineering calculations and collect and analyze field data to prepare detailed reports and records.
  • Safety Focus: Learn, practice, and promote ALL safety policies and procedures 100% of the time.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Apply various codes, requirements, regulations, policies, and procedures to all assigned work to create safe and cost-effective designs.
  • Collaboration: Regularly communicate job status to assure client expectations and deliverable dates are met, and coordinate with construction personnel and clients to resolve any project issues.

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma/GED and at least one year of utility experience (associate degree preferred). You should be proficient in basic principles and practices of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, general science, and scales of weight and measurements as applied to engineer's computations and construction.

You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or the business community. A valid driver's license and vehicle suitable for business use are required.

**Benefits:**

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
