Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineer will oversee multiple projects from concept to production, providing technical direction and project management to ensure timely and successful implementation of new products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and test devices for improvement
  • Recommend design changes, cost reductions, and manufacturing issues
  • Perform and analyze tests to track results and make improvements
  • Work with marketing and vendors to provide product specifications
  • Perform root cause analysis and work towards resolutions
  • Oversee engineering qualification tests and ensure compliance with outside parties
  • Write product specifications, document test results, and prepare product operating instructions

Requirements:

  • Industry experience with SolidWorks
  • Previous experience working with high-speed production machinery
