About the Role
HCA Florida Healthcare – East Florida Division is seeking a dynamic physician leader to join our Internal Medicine residency program as Core Faculty at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital.
As a key member of our Graduate Medical Education team, you will play a vital role in teaching and mentoring our residents, providing high-quality patient care, and contributing to the advancement of medical education.
Responsibilities
- Be a role model for future generations of physicians by demonstrating compassion, commitment to excellence, and a dedication to lifelong learning.
- Provide residents with level and skill-appropriate supervision, promoting patient safety, cost-effective care, and progressive resident responsibility and independence.
- Create an effective learning environment with open communication, free from fear of incrimination or retribution, and attend to resident well-being.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in resident education, participating in clinical discussions, didactics, rounds, journal clubs, conferences, and other educational activities as assigned by the Program Director.
- Pursue development of teaching, mentoring, and administrative skills related to education, well-being, practice-based learning, and improvement.
