Job Summary:
The Certified Welding Inspector performs inspections on welded products in a fabrication environment. The CWI utilizes magnification and stress equipment to ensure the products meet specifications and quality standards according to blueprints and knowledge of welding and metallurgy.

Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect heavy steel assemblies for compliance to specified detail drawings and AWS and AISC specifications
* Ensure weld machines are set up and operating correctly
* Verify welding techniques of welders to guarantee quality of work

Requirements:
* Familiarity with D1.1 code
* Basic knowledge of ASIC and AWS national codes
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
