Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our dynamic team at Mary Immaculate Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in the performance of cardiovascular procedures, demonstrating competency in all positions, and providing effective patient care to adults and geriatrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians in the performance of cardiovascular procedures
  • Demonstrate competency in all positions, including scrub, monitor, and circulate
  • Provide effective patient care to adults and geriatrics
  • Enter patient data in the angiographic archival system and operate/monitor digital x-ray acquiring system
  • Accurately record in the electronic medical record and charge for procedures

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Current certification as Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Registry (RCIS)
  • BCLS and ACLS required
  • IABP certification required within six months of hire date
  • Effective ECG and Hemodynamic recognition and interpretation required
