About the Role

This internship provides a unique opportunity to engage in a short-term assignment with limited supervision, allowing you to develop and maintain company standards for EHS and Quality activities. You will assist in establishing a Management Operating System for the EHS and Quality Centers of Excellence Function, interact with internal departments, vendors, and customers, and experience hands-on opportunities through direct interaction.

Qualifications
  • Current enrollment in a Baccalaureate program in mathematics, engineering, or science discipline
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability and willingness to learn new digital platforms
  • Strong communication skills
  • High level of energy, positive attitude, and strong work history
Preferred Requirements
  • First experience with continuous improvement
Program Requirements
  • Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship
  • Available to work in person 40 hours a week for 10-12 weeks between May and August
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, stoop, climb, twist, turn, grasp, and move about the facility. Walking, walking on irregular surfaces, and balancing will be required. Hearing, sight to include depth perception and color vision, and the ability to speak clearly will be required. Occasional lifting and moving up to 50 lbs. and the ability to comply with PPE requirements (ability to pass a fit-test and wear a respirator is required for certain positions/locations). The environment for this position is a Manufacturing setting, with exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noise. Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional business environment. Base Pay Range: $26.00

The base salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.
