Job Summary

The Front Desk Supervisor is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth guest experience. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Front Desk Manager in overseeing the front desk operations and ensuring that all guests are checked in and out efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor and maintain the front desk area, ensuring that it is clean and organized at all times.
  • Process guest transactions, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
  • Manage guest complaints and issues, escalating them to the Front Desk Manager or other relevant staff members as needed.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure that guest rooms are clean and ready for occupancy.
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
