Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Support professional to assist with the hiring and onboarding of seasonal employees for our production team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating recruitment efforts, managing onboarding processes, and ensuring a smooth experience for both new hires and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Support:
    • Assist in posting job openings on job boards, company website, and social media platforms.
    • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
    • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
    • Participate in interviewing candidates when necessary.
    • Track and manage applicant flow in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
  • Onboarding Coordination:
    • Prepare and send offer letters, employment contracts, and other onboarding documentation.
    • Coordinate pre-employment requirements such as background checks, reference checks, and drug screenings.
    • Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Collect and verify new hire paperwork, including tax forms and direct deposit information.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Act as a point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process, answering questions and resolving concerns.
    • Support managers and supervisors in the smooth integration of seasonal hires into the production team.
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping:
    • Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, both in physical files and HRIS systems.
    • Maintain up-to-date reports on hiring and onboarding status.
  • General HR Support:
    • Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
    • Assist in employee training sessions and other HR-related activities.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an HR support role, preferably with a focus on recruitment and onboarding.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS or ATS systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Previous experience in production or manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred, but not required.
