About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Post Anesthesia Recovery Nurse to join our team in Chicago, Illinois.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide care for post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia, monitoring their vital signs and administering necessary treatment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in PACU environments and be able to work effectively with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PACU environment
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as needed
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient transitions
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois
  • Experience working in PACU environments preferred
  • Ability to work 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
