About the Role

California State University seeks a skilled Financial Planning and Budget Management Director to join our Administration & Business Affairs division. In this key position, you will provide leadership and oversight of the Budget Planning and Administration office and staff, supporting the President and campus in developing and implementing the University budget.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level financial professional to make a meaningful impact on the University's strategic planning and resource development. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the CSU Chancellor's Office on campus budgetary matters and advise campus divisions on the feasibility of various initiatives.

About the Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and/or college, or equivalent combination of education, training, and professional work experience.
  • Eight years of progressively responsible experience in a senior level financial and management position.
  • Five years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in building and advocating for efficient business processes and systems.

The successful candidate will be eligible for a competitive salary range of $14,587 - $16,250 per month, commensurate with their education, experience, skills, and training. Additionally, they will enjoy best-in-class benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings plans.
