Job Summary:The NICU Registered Nurse delivers high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns and their families
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor and assess patient condition, identifying and reporting any changes or concerns
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit efficiency
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
- 1+ year of NICU experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Neonate Resuscitation certification
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
