Job Summary:

The Hospitality Division Financial Controller will be responsible for utilizing their accounting experience to manage the financial assets of Fertitta Hospitality and other acquisitions. This role will involve hands-on office lease accounting, ensuring office building tenants are billed and funds collected, and financial statements are prepared and reconciled on a monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with bank compliance reporting
Knowledge of accounting principles, lease accounting, tax laws, and financial regulations
Working knowledge of classification of CAM (Common Area Maintenance) vs. owner operating expense and preparation for yearly CAM audit
Review daily cash collected against what was billed in the leasing income journal
Review accounts receivable (A/R) balances and assist with late payments collections from tenants

Requirements:

Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, general ledger, financial statements, budgets, capital expenditures, and lease accounting
Previous experience in lease accounting is helpful
Proficient in Word and Excel software
Flexible to work in varying schedules
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
