Electrophysiology Specialist - Summa Health System is a leading healthcare provider in the region, recognized for its commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and service. As an Electrophysiology Specialist, you will play a critical role in performing Electroencephalograms (EEGs) and Evoked Potentials (EPs) studies in the Laboratory and at the bedside of patients. Your expertise will also be utilized in video/EEG monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) program OR Associate's Degree in Allied Health or Natural Sciences OR training in a 2 year Neurodiagnostic educational program Or be ABRET registry with related credential (R.
EEG T. CNIM,CLTM, R.EP T.

, etc)
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years experience as EEG Technologist working in Neurodiagnostics.
  • ABRET registry with R.
EEG T. credentials, preferred

  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Video Long Term Monitoring (LTM) experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform EEG and EP studies in the Laboratory and at the bedside of patients.
  • Utilize video/EEG monitoring to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare personnel to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.

Working Conditions:

  • Extensive sitting and frequent walking, occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist with positioning and transporting patients, i.
e., pushing beds, carts, and wheelchairs.

  • Ability to maneuver equipment and motor coordination to operate equipment.
$33.08/hr - $39.70/hr
