Job Title: Mixologist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mixologist to join our team at Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo - a DoubleTree by Hilton. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for creating exceptional beverage experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, beers, and wines to our guests.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our beverage menu and make recommendations to guests.
  • Ensure that all beverages are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the bar area and storage areas.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a bartender or mixologist in a high-volume establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, beers, and wines, including their origins, characteristics, and pairing options.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity during peak periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
