We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Host/Food Runner to join our dynamic team at Dire Wolf Tavern. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless table management, and supporting our servers and bartenders in delivering an outstanding dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Host Responsibilities:
    • Welcome guests warmly and efficiently, managing the wait list and seating servers to optimize service.
    • Answer phone calls, process takeout orders, and respond to guest inquiries with a smile.
    • Develop strong menu knowledge for takeout service, ensuring accurate and timely orders.
    • Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and servers regarding their section.
    • Maintain a clean and sanitized work area at all times.
    • Assist servers and bartenders as needed to ensure seamless service.
  • Food Runner Responsibilities:
    • Clear, sanitize, and reset tables between services, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
    • Deliver water to guests upon arrival and organize food on the hot line for efficient service.
    • Communicate guest requests and feedback to the necessary server or bartender.
    • Act as the last line of defense for quality control, ensuring all plates meet our high standards.
    • Assist servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff as needed to maintain exceptional service.
