Knife Sharpener and Grinder Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Knife Sharpener and Grinder Technician to join our team at Foster Farms. This role is responsible for sharpening knives, blades, scissors, and other production utensils using various machines. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sharpen knives, blades, scissors, and other production utensils using various machines.
• Adjust and maintain grinder, edge buffer, and other knife machines.
• Count and maintain physical knife, scissors, and utensil inventory.
• Organize and maintain the Knife Room.

Requirements:

• Must report regularly and on time to work and work all required hours, including overtime and weekends as scheduled.
• Must be able to work safely and set an example of good working safe habits.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to maintain consistent and quality work with limited supervision.
