Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechatronics Technician to join our team at Phillips Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of industrial plant equipment at our Norfolk Naval Shipyard location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive onsite assessments to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Develop and refine mechanical and electrical maintenance skills to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Provide expert electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting support to resolve equipment malfunctions promptly and accurately.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of PLC controls to oversee technical aspects of customer contracts.
  • Ensure routine maintenance on equipment is performed consistently and effectively, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Create and maintain accurate electronic service reports, ensuring timely and comprehensive documentation.
  • Foster strong relationships with colleagues and customers to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a general understanding of metal cutting and fabrication techniques.
