Overview

Duly Health and Care offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our pediatric services team. As a Nursing Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to physicians.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN with excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a clinical or hospital setting and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care activities, including escorting patients to and from exam rooms and preparing them for physicians.
  • Takes vital signs, records medical history/symptoms, and ensures medical chart/lab test results are available and complete.
  • Performs telephone triage, patient education, handling of physician phone calls, pharmacy calls, and assists with setting up appointments or arranging hospital tests or admissions.
  • Administers immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed and records all such activities in the chart.
  • Assists physician with procedures as necessary and completes paperwork such as ordering lab tests, x-rays, school/work notes, etc.
  • Clean and sterilize equipment, check and restock medication cabinet as necessary, and respond to patient questions and concerns as liaison between physician and patient.
Requirements
  • Current IL RN licensure
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
  • Current CPR certification
  • Prefer a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting but may consider new grad under specific circumstances

Estimated Salary:

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
