Hartung Glass Industries is seeking a reliable and skilled Glass Hauler and Logistics Specialist to join our team in Tukwila, WA. This is a physically demanding role that requires lifting and working in a fast-paced environment.

About the Job

We are looking for a qualified individual to drive a 26ft straight truck (box) and deliver glass products to individual companies and job sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking and securing loads, safely delivering products to customers, and performing routine maintenance on the truck.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver glass products to customers in a timely manner
  • Check and secure loads to prevent damage
  • Perform routine maintenance on the truck, including cleaning and documentation
  • Update driver's log and maintain vehicle mileage log
  • Complete paperwork correctly, including shippers and return slips
  • Assist with loading and unloading of products
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues as needed

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a road test
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers
  • Ability to lift and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Must pass DOT UA test
  • Excellent attendance and work ethics
