RN MDS Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled RN MDS Coordinator to join our team at Maine Veterans' Homes. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of Minimum Data Sets (MDS) assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Documentation: Ensure comprehensive and accurate completion of MDS assessments, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team to maximize benefits and optimize patient care.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed on current state, federal, and VA long-term care regulations, ensuring compliance and implementing necessary changes.
- Staff Development: Provide training, feedback, and guidance to staff members as directed.

Requirements- Education and Licensure: Possess a current, unencumbered Maine RN License.
- Experience and Skills: Possess the knowledge and skills necessary to provide effective leadership, engage in purposeful communication, and demonstrate a strong understanding of MDS assessments.
- Preferred Qualifications: 2-3 years of applicable experience as a RN and 1-3 years' experience in MDS.
