The Snowmaker I is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the creation of artificial snow for ski runs at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe. This role involves setting up and tearing down snowmaking equipment, operating heavy machinery, and providing exceptional customer service to resort guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and tear down snowmaking equipment
- Operate heavy machinery, including snowmobiles
- Shovel snow off equipment regularly
- Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and other team members
- Provide information and answer questions about the resort to guests
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license required
- Availability to work nights and weekends on a flexible basis
- Previous heavy equipment operation experience preferred
- Excellent English communication and customer service skills
