Mercyhealth is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician to join our team as a core faculty member in Janesville, WI.

This is an excellent opportunity to teach residents and provide patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

You will advise and guide the residents, reviewing and supervising patient care within the hospital and at Mercyhealth South. Our residents consult with their preceptor about each patient's plan of care.

We provide over 125 specialty and sub-specialty services, including adult and pediatric critical care, neonatal intensive care, neurosurgery, heart and vascular care, cancer care, plastic and reconstructive surgery, Da Vinci robotic surgery, and much more.

Opportunity:

  • Craft your outpatient practice half days and share your expertise precepting residents the other half (including administration).

Backup call only Epic EHR Newborn rounding (in rotation with other faculty members) Residency faculty responsibilities are assigned by the program director as needed. The admitting hospital is Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center – Janesville, WI.

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO Board Certified

Residency training from an ACGME-accredited family medicine program. The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team. A passion for teaching residents and medical students in a didactic/clinic setting. Skilled in providing exceptional care for all ages. Previous faculty experience in an accredited residency or fellowship program is desired, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
