Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wire Transfer Operations Specialist to join our team at Banesco USA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional support to all departments regarding wire operations, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all wire transfers, adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers, including those in foreign currencies, with precision and attention to detail.
  • Prepare outgoing wire transfers with the correct receiving and/or correspondent banks for payments, guaranteeing timely and secure transactions.
  • Verify that the SWIFT system is processing wire transfers efficiently, with all messages in and out completed daily.
  • Monitor Online Banking system wires received throughout the day, ensuring they balance with the wire transfer system.
  • Conduct thorough OFAC reviews, determining if additional reviews are needed by the BSA department.
  • Cross-check the FATCA list to ensure compliance with laws before sending outgoing wire transfers.
  • Achieve adherence to Travel Rule Regulations.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries or refer them to the appropriate department/person, demonstrating excellent follow-through with customers and staff.
  • Complete assigned annual training program.
  • Perform other functions and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and intermediate computer skills.
  • Two to three years of experience in wire transfer processing (domestic and international), clearing OFAC hits, and Dodd-Frank regulations.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT, FedLink, and GiftSoft preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing both languages.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective communication at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask, with strong organization, time-management, and prioritization skills.
  • Superior customer service skills, ensuring satisfaction for both internal and external clients.
