In this role, you will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of your unit's patients. You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, maintain and review patients' records, administer medications in accordance with physician orders, and provide leadership to your nursing team during your designated shift.

Requirements:

· Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.

· Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN Preferred.

· American Heart Association BLS.

· ACLS required within 6 months of hire/transfer in the following units: Progressive Care, ICU, SICU, CVOR, PACU, EP, Endo and ER.

· PALS or ENPC required within 6 months of hire/transfer in the Emergency Department.

· CPI training required within 3 months of hire/transfer for Behavioral Health.

· Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting required.
