Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret medical information accurately and effectively for patients and healthcare providers
  • Facilitate clear communication between patients and healthcare teams
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in interpretation
  • Stay up-to-date with medical terminology, vocabulary, and concepts
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; 1-3 years of language interpreter or teaching experience preferred
  • Fully fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or via video conferencing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and call center technology
  • Epic EMR experience a plus
