Job Description

Principal Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Automation Systems Specialist to install, assemble, maintain, and replace automation systems throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, excellent mechanical aptitude, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and assemble automation systems at key production or inspection systems.
  • Troubleshoot non-functioning components, including servos, sensors, and simple control components.
  • Log equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality.
  • Provide real-time information and reports to management.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing to order necessary supplies.
  • Follow all company safety rules and TS requirements, maintaining a clean and orderly work area within lean guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a production environment, particularly as it relates to automation technology.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, robotics, or a closely related technical field.
  • Ability to maintain efficient quality output.
