Job Summary:

The Physical Therapy Assistant PRN performs a variety of techniques to improve function, tone, strength, ROM, balance, etc. under the direction of a registered physical therapist. This position requires a strong foundation in wound care, positioning, and orthotics/prosthetics. Responsibilities:
  • Perform physical therapy and related duties under the direction of a registered physical therapist
  • Utilize various techniques to improve function, tone, strength, ROM, balance, etc.
  • Provide appropriate wound care, including setting up sterile fields, debridement of necrotic tissue, and application of topical medication and bandages
  • Use positioning as a technique to prevent or reduce deformities and/or promote function
  • Utilize and instruct patients in the proper use of orthotics/prosthetics
  • Recognize and incorporate specific precautions into patient treatment programs
  • Monitor vital signs as necessary
Requirements:
  • State Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Vocational School Graduate
  • BASIC CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT MUST BE OBTAINED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT START DATE

Salary:

We estimate the salary range for this position to be between $ $54,440 - $74,620 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure includes an estimated hourly wage of $26.21 - $35.81 per hour, working approximately 20 hours per week. However, actual salaries may vary based on individual circumstances.
