Aviation Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Technician to join our team at STS Technical Services. As an Aviation Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and inspections, trouble-shooting, repairing, and modifying airframe components and associated equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on aircraft, engines, and components
• Trouble-shoot and repair complex electrical/electromechanical issues
• Modify airframe components and associated equipment according to OEM specifications
• Operate and maintain company equipment, including pneumatic drills and rivet guns
• Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications

• Valid Airframe & Powerplant License required
• Learjet 45 experience required; Learjet 35 experience a plus
• 7+ years of Learjet experience
• Avionics experience a plus
• High School Education or GED equivalent

• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and portable stands without assistance
• Ability to work at heights up to 20 feet above the ground
• Ability to work in extreme heat and cold
• Ability to work in noisy, vibrating environments with moving mechanical parts
