Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Screen Assembler to join our team at Dover Corporation. As a Screen Assembler, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling a variety of screen assemblies for new equipment, spare parts, and inventory screens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and calculate fractions/decimal conversions with accuracy.
  • Spot weld and roll sheet metal to precise specifications.
  • Coordinate work with the welding department for non-spot welded components.
  • Paint and mark screens as required.
  • Operate hand sand blasting equipment when necessary.
  • Manage screen material inventory and screen assemblies inventory.
  • Communicate effectively with fabrication/welding and mechanical design departments to ensure accurate screen manufacturing.
  • Use computer to print job orders, drawings, and other paperwork.
  • Maintain high attention to detail and focus while assembling screens.
Work Environment

This role involves working in both office and factory floor environments, either locally or at customer sites. You may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level can be loud, and PPE may be required.

Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Very active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
  • Must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
Education and Experience

Mandatory

  • High School diploma or equivalent education (additional technical skills a plus).
  • Technical training reading Blueprints.

Professional Experience

  • Min 1 year of experience reading blueprints.
  • Computer skills to include searching databases, printing, and emailing.
