Director of Infrastructure

Koddi is seeking a seasoned Director of Infrastructure to lead our technology backbone, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure systems, including network, servers, storage, and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess infrastructure needs and drive innovation initiatives
  • Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and policies to maintain a secure and compliant infrastructure environment
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, making recommendations for adoption to enhance infrastructure capabilities and efficiency
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts, negotiating agreements and ensuring service level agreements are met
  • Develop and manage infrastructure budgets, forecasting future needs and resource requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing infrastructure teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
  • Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, cloud computing, and storage technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to design and manage infrastructure that supports high-scale, low-latency SaaS applications
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and real-time data processing is essential
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with a proven track record of optimizing performance and cost
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures is a plus
  • Experience in mentoring and developing engineering talent is important
  • Expertise in implementing and maintaining high availability, fault-tolerant systems
  • Knowledge of security best practices, including encryption, access control, and compliance with industry standards
  • Experience in automating infrastructure processes, deploying CI/CD pipelines, and adopting new technologies to improve performance and reliability
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet)
