About the Role

Are you passionate about empowering young minds and shaping their future? We are seeking a skilled After School Group Leader to join our team at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern NH.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have experience in youth development, education, or recreation, with a strong focus on creating engaging programs for children aged 6-18. As an After School Group Leader, you will be responsible for designing and implementing activities that promote social-emotional learning, academic success, and character development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement program plans that cater to diverse age groups and interests
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that encourages active participation and learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of programs and services
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and evaluations
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college credit or coursework in child development, education, or a related field
  • At least 600 hours of experience working with children in a school-age program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Knowledge of youth development principles and best practices
  • Certifications in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
What We Offer
