Veterinary Technician Position Overview

At Veterinary Emergency Center of Canton, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be a team player, and have a strong passion for delivering exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform triage evaluations of patient conditions
  • Create and maintain treatment sheets
  • Calculate and administer medications, continuous infusions, and blood products
  • Place and maintain catheters
  • Record patient status observations and treatments
  • Charge for treatments and procedures
  • Alert the DVM with any changes in patient status
  • Perform anesthesia induction, maintenance, and recovery
  • Perform radiographs and laboratory analyses
  • Interact with clients, provide patient updates, and manage patient visits

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
