Trustpoint is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal/Case Manager to join their Washington DC office on a direct hire hybrid basis. This position is ideal for legal professionals with advanced paralegal and case management skills, extensive litigation, investigation, and general case management experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Interface with attorneys, outside agencies, vendors, and professional staff
  • Prepare and review court and agency filings with attention to detail
  • Support trial/arbitration or hearings in various forums
  • Conduct factual research, cite-checking, proofreading, and organization of documents and files
  • Coordinate with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel
  • Work with litigation support staff and attorneys to assess and oversee case needs and requirements

Requirements:

  • Eight + years' experience as a case manager/legal assistant preferred; four-year degree preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and close attention to detail
  • Well-developed proofreading, cite-checking, and Bluebooking skills
  • Proficient experience with database platforms, Westlaw, LEXIS, and Best Authority
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to juggle concurrent projects
  • Flexibility to work overtime and travel
