Role Overview

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Architect for Mission Planning Systems based in Oklahoma City, OK. This is an exciting opportunity to work on state-of-the-art mission planning systems and be part of a large program that supports the full software product lifecycle.

About the Job

We are looking for a cross-functional team player who will collaborate with internal and external teams, driven to provide solutions to internal and external customers. As a Principal Full Stack Software Developer, you will design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining and improving the software CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, bug-free delivery of critical business software to production
  • Setting up and deploying development, test, and build environments
  • Creating and updating Windows installers
  • Installing, testing, and verifying software products
  • Providing support for the software build and installation
  • Working within a cross-functional scrum to develop high-priority mission planning features
  • Understanding third-party software and hardware peripherals to support implementation of software interfaces and integration
  • Developing software test products such as verification cross-reference matrices to tie software requirements to software tests

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5 years of experience or Master's degree and 2 years of experience
  • Current DoD Secret Clearance (adjudicated within the last 5 years), with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) clearances
  • Experience with Agile Methodology and Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) Tools (Bamboo, Jenkins) and Practices
  • Proficiency in C# and/or Java and Object-Oriented Design
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows technologies
  • Test procedure development and maintenance
  • Experience supporting/coordinating formal test events

Salary Range: $87,800 - $131,600
