Job Summary:

Community Transitional Services, a Kentucky Department of Corrections contracted correctional facility, is seeking a qualified Counselor to join our team. As a Counselor, you will be responsible for providing substance abuse treatment to men referred by the Department of Corrections. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $18.00, negotiable based on education and experience, as well as a monthly performance/attendance bonus of up to $175.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Case management, weekly counseling sessions, facilitating groups/classes, overseeing the disciplinary process, and assisting in program progress.
  • Salary is negotiable based on education and experience, and employees are eligible for a monthly performance/attendance bonus.

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field and a valid driver's license are required.
  • A background check will be conducted, and individuals on supervision are not eligible.
  • Monthly attendance bonus in addition to hourly pay.
