About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech PRN to join our team at StoneSprings Hospital Center. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures using fixed and portable units in the imaging department, nursing units, and operating suites. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing all radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures following departmental protocols
  • Communicating with patients to ensure their understanding of the procedure and addressing any concerns
  • Maintaining patient rights and privacy at all times
  • Reporting any significant issues related to patients, physicians, x-ray procedures, or personnel to the Technical Director and/or immediate supervisor
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from a program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or documented equivalent education
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiology: Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as an RT(R) or eligibility for registry
  • BLS certification through American Red Cross (AHA and military certifications accepted) required upon hire
