Respiratory Therapist Job Description

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with our team to provide comprehensive respiratory services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and educate patients on the use of home medical equipment, including ventilators, monitors, and oxygen concentrators.
  • Inspect and test equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Review patient information and physician orders to determine suitable treatment administration.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory homecare techniques.
  • Work on-call shifts as needed, with flexible scheduling to accommodate center size and employee availability.
Requirements:
  • Clinical Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance, with reliable personal vehicle for patient visits.
  • Strong communication and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds.
