Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at McLean Hospital, a world-renowned psychiatric hospital. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional care to patients receiving ECT/TMS/Ketamine treatment.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong nursing skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues to provide comprehensive care, ensuring the smooth flow of patients through the treatment process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide immediate and long-term nursing care needs for patients receiving ECT/TMS/Ketamine within established standards.
  • Conduct pre-treatment assessments, monitor patient conditions, and ensure post-anesthesia recovery management.
  • Communicate patient information with the treatment team and prioritize patient care needs effectively.
  • Establish therapeutic alliances with assigned patients and promote interventions that support safe and timely recovery.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Experience: No experience required; one year of medical/psychiatric experience preferred.
  • License: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Basic computer skills required for electronic or online systems.
