Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Polysomnography Technologist to join our team at University Hospitals Health System. As a key member of our Sleep Center, you will be responsible for performing polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, and providing exceptional patient care and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, and Home Sleep Apnea Tests
  • Provide patient care and education, including age-appropriate care for patients and families
  • Collaborate with Sleep Center staff and other disciplines to ensure a strong team and contribute to operational goals
  • Identify and correct machine malfunctions, and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Use technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies
Requirements
  • Knowledge of proper use of PPE and scope of practice
  • Thorough understanding of patient monitoring and care delivery
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to rapidly interpret tracings and intervene during studies
