We are seeking a skilled pharmacist to join our multidisciplinary team at Avera St Luke's Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals to contribute to the improvement of patient outcomes through effective medication management.

About the Job:

  • As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for interpreting and monitoring medication orders issued by healthcare providers, ensuring patient safety and appropriateness.
  • You will prepare and dispense medications for patients of all ages, promoting adherence to treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement strategies for continuous quality improvement, enhancing patient care and satisfaction.
  • Counsel patients on proper medication use, addressing potential adverse effects and interactions.
  • Promote patient safety and well-being by coordinating workflow with other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of South Dakota.

Work Schedule:

  • Day/Evening Shift; 80 hours every 2 weeks.
  • Occasional weekend shifts (currently every 4th week).
  • Ongoing call time (dependent on shift assignments).

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications. Competitive pay and benefits package, including front-loaded PTO, free health insurance options, sign-on bonuses, and opportunities for career growth.

Location: Aberdeen, SD, offers a welcoming community with access to public and private golf courses, lakes, hunting, fishing areas, and a great school system.

Average Annual Salary Range: $95,800.
