Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our team at The RMN Agency. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in Trusts and Estates Paralegal work and be proficient in drafting, reviewing, and interpreting legal documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and interpret legal documents related to trust and estate administration.
  • Interact with clients, attorneys, and other staff to schedule and prepare for meetings.
  • Record billable time daily and review and edit bill proformas monthly.
  • Work closely with attorneys on all phases of trust and estate administration, including calculating and distributing beneficiary distributions, computing and paying executor and trustee commissions, and preparing formal and informal estate and trust accountings.
  • Assist with probate court responsibilities, including reading and interpreting wills and trust instruments, preparing and filing all documents required for probate proceedings, and drafting receipt and release agreements, disclaimers, affidavits, and accounting petitions.
