About the Role

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Lead to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while also leading and mentoring our care staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide supervisory support to care staff, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and services.
  • Support care staff in providing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care and services to residents, including bathing, grooming, and personal care.
  • Encourage resident participation in life enrichment programming and ADLs.
  • Assist with meal service and coach care staff on hospitality standards.
  • Accurately document care and services provided to residents, and review care manager documentation throughout the shift.
  • Ensure compliance with Sunrise's Timekeeping and Meal/Rest Period policies.
  • Display flexibility in work schedule, working holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts as needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED strongly preferred and may be required per state regulations.
  • Ability to read, write, communicate effectively with care staff, community managers, residents, and family members.
  • In states where applicable, must maintain applicable certifications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Medication Management Certificate required; ongoing training and re-education per Sunrise and state requirements.
  • Previous experience working with seniors and desire to serve and care for seniors.
  • Demonstrates leadership competencies.
