Job OverviewQuestor Consultants, Inc. is seeking a seasoned VP of Claims to lead our operational and administrative claims functions, including reserving, for a Municipal Insurance fund in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have 20 years of experience in an Insurance Claims Department, TPA, or Risk Management Department, with a strong understanding of New Jersey Civil Tort and Workers Comp claims systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage operational and administrative claims functions, including reserving
  • Lead TPA relationships and direct TPA's Workers Comp activities
  • Manage staff Liability Litigation Managers and lead claims reporting
  • Develop and implement effective claims strategies to minimize losses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless claims processing

Requirements
  • JD with 20 years of experience in an Insurance Claims Department, TPA, or Risk Management Department
  • Advanced skills in Coverage Analysis, Litigation Management, and Negotiation
  • Knowledge of New Jersey Civil Tort and Workers Comp claims systems
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
