Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Blue Plate Restaurant Company Inc.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, ensuring seamless execution of menu items and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among kitchen staff
  • Collaborate with chefs and culinary team members to create innovative menus and dishes that meet customer expectations
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize profitability

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field (desired)
  • Proven experience in a similar position, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and sanitation procedures
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously

Compensation and Benefits
