About the Role

Cytiva is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team in Southern California. As a key member of our Life Sciences business, you will be responsible for driving customer success and growth across assigned accounts within the Discovery business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with customers, providing Cytiva workflow solutions and becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Attain or exceed business objectives related to existing accounts, including developing new accounts, understanding assigned accounts, targeting market segments, and introducing new products and workflow solutions.
  • Work with the Cytiva product sales specialist team to demonstrate the breadth and range of Cytiva capabilities, with a focus on Research Consumables.
  • Build business strategies in assigned territory and partner with fellow Cytiva colleagues and distribution partners to achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Be accountable for timely and accurate forecasting of pipeline and sales funnel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in the Life Sciences field or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of successful commercial experience, including sales, marketing, technical support, and field applications support within biotechnology/pharmaceutical industries in Life Sciences research or a combination of experience post-bachelor working experience in a Biotech, Pharma, or Academic lab.
  • Strong influencing, interpersonal, and networking skills to drive a collaborative culture at all levels.
  • Proven account management and project planning skills.
  • High-level presentation skills to present complex ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact.
  • Self-motivated, a team player, and well-organized.
  • Willingness to travel outside of geographic territory (10-15% travel non-customer facing).
Additional Requirements
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment/supplies up to 25lbs.

Cytiva offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees. We also offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $125,000 and bonus/incentive pay. Relocation will be considered.
