Role Summary:

The EyeCare Advisor role at EssilorLuxottica is a dynamic and challenging position that requires strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the LensCrafters Experience by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring all patients receive the highest quality optometric care.

  • Integrate the Brand Story and ensure flawless execution of the patient experience/behaviors, seamlessly linking the doctor and retail functions together.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers without delay and promptly answer the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner.

  • Explain all required paperwork, tests, products, and services and review prescriptions and patient information carefully.

  • Show patience and courtesy to indecisive or difficult customers and patients and perform work accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and customer volume.

  • Identify situations involving unsatisfied customers and act quickly for resolution and demonstrate knowledge of appointment book/scheduling procedures and computer operation/procedures.

  • Handle and file all patient records in an organized and efficient manner in accordance with HIPAA and place contact lens orders, process shipments, and properly submit invoices for payment.

  • Operate the POS system terminal, inputting customer/patient and prescription information with accuracy and attention to details and explain to customers "One Hour" processing and expected delivery times.

  • Take pride in the appearance of the store and ensure visual displays are in accordance with Company-provided guidelines and maintain a safe working environment for all associates/patients.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.

  • Strong customer service skills (internal and external).

  • Knowledge of current fashion trends.

  • Strong communicator and listener.

  • Problem-solving ability.

  • Familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators.

  • Organization skills.

  • Sales skills.

  • Strong basic math skills.

  • Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, and/or optical.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
