Job Summary:

Kindred Hospital Houston NW - LifePoint is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in an Inpatient setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in managing treatment plans to promote positive outcomes for patients with diverse diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing disorders
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify patients' needs and goals
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Texas
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Minimum one year of experience in Inpatient settings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
