At Lightpath, we are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Corporate Counsel to join our Legal Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of varied and complex legal work, while maintaining a passion for your work. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and able to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of Lightpath's business, services, and internal systems.
  • Proactively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing workload based on value to the company while meeting deadlines.
  • Perform well under pressure, maintaining attention to detail and providing sound, clear legal advice to stakeholders in a sales-driven environment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and stakeholders, effectively communicating with all parties.
  • Develop creative solutions to difficult legal challenges, leveraging strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school with high academic credentials.
  • Admission to practice in at least one state in the U.S. and membership in good standing in that state.
  • 2-5 years of attorney experience in a law firm and/or an in-house legal department.
